The CHS Alumni Association board has developed a five-year plan that includes:
1. CHS Memorial Forest
Phase 1: Upgrades – Project #1
- We will hopefully tie this into the 80th Anniversary of the CHS Memorial Forest (July 2024)
- A new granite sign (with lighting), electronic gate, and fence across the front of the property.
Phase 2: Additions/Upgrades
- Estimated July 2026
- A parking lot and paved driveway.
Phase 3: Additions/Upgrades
- Estimated July 2028
- A teaching venue of some type (e.g., lyceum(
Phase 4: Plan for the 2030 Veteran Project
2. 2027 – 100th Anniversary
3. Support CHS Students & Staff
- Scholarships
- Athletics/Activities/Clubs/Music
- Miscellaneous (e.g., InvestED, Food Pantry, school needs).
4. Grow Membership
- Board – Build a full and strong board.
- Volunteers – Support committees
- Donations & Fundraising
- Partnership with CHS and with the CHS PTSA
